Anna Doumet is a Production designer based in Canada.
Anna Doumet is a Lebanese-Canadian production designer based in Montreal, Canada. Passionate about art and storytelling from a very young age, she first pursued a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Interior Architecture at l’Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts in Lebanon before working with renowned firms Bernard Khoury and Nabil Gholam Architects.
In 2019, Anna moved to Canada to merge her two passions, design and performing arts, and specialized in theatre design at Concordia University. That same year, she participated in the Prague Quadrennial 2019, exhibiting a collective artwork, and later collaborated on several theatre productions through Concordia’s Theatre Department.
In 2020, she joined Baobab – Création Multidisciplinaire as a collaborator and designer on multidisciplinary artistic projects and performing arts festivals. She later worked with Youth Fusion as a dramatic arts project coordinator and became a set, props, and costume design mentor at Collège Mont-Saint-Louis, where she guided students through the creative and technical aspects of theatre production. She also collaborated on socially engaged artistic projects with ATSA, contributing to immersive and multidisciplinary experiences exploring community, technology, and human connection. Alongside these roles, she designed sets, costumes, props, and lighting for multiple productions in Montreal, including 1h to Save Theatre, Gruesome Playground Injuries, and Frozen Jr.
Beyond stage design, Anna is also the author of The Fantastic Story of the Ousoulitus, a fantasy novel inspired by imagination, symbolism, and emotional storytelling. Her writing practice strongly influences her visual universe and approach to immersive storytelling.
Driven by her passion for immersive storytelling and accessible creativity, Anna later founded PAFE (Performing Arts for Everyone), a Montreal-based creative company dedicated to making the performing arts approachable, inspiring, and inclusive for adults of all levels. Through PAFE, she designs and coordinates workshops, themed artistic experiences, and collaborative creative events that blend performance, visual design, and community connection.
Today, her work combines production design, immersive environments, scenic storytelling, and hands-on creative direction, with a strong interest in creating artistic experiences that are both visually striking and deeply human.
